Missi Plye was born to Linda and Frank Pyle. Missi Pyle has two older sisters named Debbie & Julie and two older brothers named Sam & Paul. She has a half-brother named Gordon & a half-sister named Meredith Pyle.
Missi Plye who was raised in Tennessee is a high school graduate from Germantown High School in Germantown in 1991. While in Germantown High School, Missi Pyle appeared in Poplar Pike Playhouse Theatre productions and school's GHS-TV cable access station. She later graduated from North Carolina School of Arts in 1995.
Missi Pyle made her debut in films with an uncredited role in "The Cottonwood" in 1996 and television debut with "Mad About You" in 1999. Missi Pyle got her breakthrough role in "Galaxy Quest" in 1999. For her role in "Bringing Down the House" {2003}, Missi Pyle and Queen Latifah received an MTV nomination for the Best Fight Award.
